- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tsp Chana dal
- 1 tbsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds

- 6 Red chillies
- Tamarind, marble size
- ¼ cup Oil
- Tindora, slit
- Salt, to taste
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
Preparation
- Step 1Roast the peanuts on low flame.
- Step 2Add the sesame seeds, chana dal, urad dal, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and red chillies then fry all the ingredients on low flame.
- Step 3Grind the roasted ingredients to a fine powder then add the tamarind and grind again.
- Step 4Heat the oil in a pan.
- Step 5Add the slit tindora, salt and turmeric. Fry on high flame for 4 minutes then cover and cook on medium flame, sauteing in between, until tender.
- Step 6Add the ground powder and fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
- Step 7Add the curry leaves, mix and remove from heat.
- Step 8Serve hot with rice.
